Supernova is seeking a Print Process Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you’ll blend creativity with analytics to enhance the Viscous Lithography Manufacturing (VLM) printing process. Your responsibilities will include developing printing strategies, defining routines and algorithms, and conducting thorough testing and analysis. You’ll characterize different printing steps and quantitatively assess the impact of controlled changes on final product quality. Additionally, you’ll operate workbenches, prepare detailed reports, and collaborate closely with the materials team to optimize printing parameters, and with the software team to implement new routines.
- Develop and optimize printing strategies for the VLM process.
- Define and implement routines and algorithms to improve printing efficiency and quality.
- Conduct extensive testing to compare different strategies.
- Characterize the various stages of the printing process and measure their effects.
- Operate printing workbenches and analyze operational data.
- Collaborate with the Materials team to set and refine printing parameters.
- Collaborate with the software teammates to implement new routines and strategies
- Prepare comprehensive reports documenting findings and recommendations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in a process engineering role, preferably in additive manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to innovate and solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in developing and testing algorithms for process optimization.
- Effective communication skills and fluency in English.
